I lied

I'm going to tackle the macaron tonight. I can't stop thinking about them.

I ate a macaron my last day in paris, knowing somehow they were gluten free. It was the best thing I've ever eaten. I stumbled upon a mention of them in a food blog since then, realized what they were, and can't stop thinking about them. I bought almond flour a while ago in anticipation for the day I'd be ready to try. Its going to be tonight.

edit: i still have not attempted these. i was going to on sunday, but i didnt have enough almond flour so by the time i got back from the store it was too late. soon, i promise.
